- Citizens can check their lottery name, look for their serial number to claim a prize.
Claiming the Prize Money
If any citizens are winning any of the prize money, he/ she is required to claim the money. To claim your prize money, follow these steps:
- Firstly, the applicants will have to fill in a Claim application form provided by the authorities.
- On the application form, candidates will have to enter details like Name of the claimant, name of lottery, Claimant’s address, prize amount, PAN No., contact no and other bank details.
- Post filling the application form, the candidates will have to submit this form to The Director, Nagaland State Lotteries.
Only The Director, Nagaland State Lotteries will have to authority to distribute the prize money to the genuine claims.
Documents Required to Claim Prize Money
- Original prize-winning Ticket
- Copy of prize-winning ticket attested by Gazetted Officer/Notary Public
- A Cancelled cheque
- PAN card
- Four photographs (passport size)
- Bank Account information
- Affidavit declaring ownership of the prize-winning ticket from any First Class Magistrate/Notary Public.
NOTE: It is very essential to keep your tickets secure to claim the prize money. In any case, the tickets of the claimant are tempered, he/ she will not be able to claim the money. Claiming money on a tempered lottery ticket will be considered a criminal offence.
